Filbert Fitting is just a regular Joe, he does his job, no complaints, and that’s that. He’s a bit nutty that way. I felt that he needed some change so I decided to take him to Disneyland during Halloween. I also made him come up with a Halloween Costume. Great day at ‘theLand

The Tram Ride Into Disneyland

We got out of the car and first thing Filbert wanted to do was put on his Halloween costume. I was really surprised a he is generally pretty reserved. He didn’t have to ask twice! Hope his spooky ghost costume doesn’t scare any kids.

Spooky Ghost

Filbert was so excited he made me promise to post a close up of his well made Disneyland Halloween costume. Here it is. You can see the craftsmanship and all the work that went into it.

Happy Halloween From Disneyland

Filbert just got into the park and right then the Disneyland train pulled into the station. It was quite a sight for a first-timer. I made him take off the costume as no one would believe he was at Disneyland so people would believe he really was there.

Disneyland Popcorn

While we entered the part, the smell of fresh popcorn was blowing all over Main Street. Being hungry as well I stopped at a popcorn cart and got a box. I ended up not getting much by the time Filbert was done. Just a bit left for me, but was just enough.

Fried Chicken at the Plaza Inn

Seems Like I have been here before, but not Filbert. After he at most of a box of popcorn I didn’t think he was still hungry, boy was I wrong. He gobbled up the green beans and rest of the food on his plate like a vacuum cleaner. Was impressive give his small size, I think he is a size 12, but not for long if he keeps eathing this way.

The Line at the Autopia

While in line overlooking the ride, Filbert commented that these cars look a bit lame. Why not some muscle cars, or something that doesn’t look dorky? I had no answer. I really did, but I didn’t want to talk smack about the ride so I let it slide. In my head I wondered when the fresh smell of exaust would be gone and were were driving electric Autopia cars that looked like a Prius or a Tesla…

Whipping a turn on the Autopia

With Filberts smack talk about the style of the cars, I didn’t think it would go much different while driving. Boy was I wrong, Filbert never mentioned it again, and threw the hammer down as he whipped though turn after turn on the road course. Good for him!

Spookyland

Well there is no such thing as ‘Spookyland’ at Disneyland, but if there was anything that could be it, it would be the Haunted Mansion. Filbert was in for a treat.

Stepping into the Haunted Mansion

Just about in the Haunted Mansion. I have been here many times, but not Filbert. Will be interesting to see if he gets scared or just shrugs it off. Will have to see.

Splash Mountain

It was a quick walk to Splash Mountain. I asked Filbert if he minded getting wet. He looked at me and laughed. I said let’s hit it! For fun we took a picture of the ‘Scary’ warning sign for the ride. We both had a laugh.

Wrapping up Another  Fun day at Disneyland

So was it a good day at Disneyland… Yes, yes it was. Got some fried chicken, hit some of the rides I always love to go on, took a new comer to Disneyland, and had a great time. Halloween is always fun at ‘theLand’ and hope Filbert’s scary costume didn’t scare you.

Hope you all have enjoyed a day at Disneyland with Filbert Fitting!
