Randy Rocker Arm came out of The Ripper. The story was he became a broken man at some point, he worked too hard and it finally got to him. Randal is his full name but he likes to be called Randy, but he goes up and down on this. For now I’ll stick with Randy. Even though Randy is not in service anymore, I felt that it was a good time to take him to Disneyland. Who knows he may spring back into service at some point.

Into the Park

Walking into Disneyland, Randy saw a poster of Goofy, and wanted to check it out. I said, plenty of time for that later, but he insisted. He wanted me to take this picture with him in Pluto’s hand. I said, it doesn’t scan, that’s his hand not his ‘Arm’. I don’t think he got it, likely neither will you.

Autopia – First Stop

Not going well for Randy right out of the shoot. The minimum height for driving the Autotopia car was 32″. Sorry Randy, too short. Maybe we can let him steer or press the gas pedal from the passenger seat.

No lines at the Autopia

Well how about this, almost no line at the Autopia on our visit. That is a rare break, and did help get Randy back into a good mood since he is too short to “officially” drive one of the cars.

Autopia Ride

So right after we left the station, I let Randy move to the best place to see the road as he was a little low in the seat due to his height. At some point Disneyland personnel yelled at me to buckle him back in. I didn’t. Randy really enjoy the ups and downs of the off road section of the ride but got nervous when pushed by a car behind us.

Fried Chicken

Almost everyone I have turned onto the fried chicken at Disneyland has had positive reviews, Randy is no exception. He was a bit pissed off since I caught this picture of him stuffing his face with the delicious mashed potatoes. He was properly lubed up after this huge plate of fried chicken!

The Tiki Room

Who really doesn’t love the Tiki Room! Randy’s head was bobbing back and forth looking at all the Birds and Plants singing up a storm. He did get caught off guard when the storm came (I think it startled him). Otherwise we walked out singing “In the Tiki Tiki Tiki Room…”

Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride

It’s rare that you can get on Mr. Toads. I have computed (statistically) that this is often the longest line for the shortest ride at the park. It’s one of my favorites so we headed over, and the line was short! We jumped in and were quickly inside. Randy is a bit of a ham and had me take a picture of him in Mr. Toads mouth. I said we could get into trouble for it, but he didn’t care.

A Clean Park is a Fun Park

After going on a few more rides we had some Disneyland junk food in Tomorrowland (might have been a Minute Maid Lemonade Ice thing) when we were done Randy promptly threw his empty cup, spoon and napkin in the trash can. I couldn’t be more proud. He said why spoil the park for others, keeping it clean helps everyone enjoy it!

Wrapping up the day at Disneyland

Spent a nice day at Disneyland with Randal (ha ha, just kidding), OK Randy. We got to check out a lot of Disneyland as it was a pretty quiet day for a change, lines on rides were light, and made the day easy.

Hope you all have enjoyed a day at Disneyland with Randy Rocker Arm!
