I had to work on the wife’s Porsche Boxster. It sat for a long while and ended up having a fouled spark plug. The CEL (Check Engine Light) prompted a fix at some point. After plugging in the diagnostic computer it told me the exact plug that had a misfire. Now to find out which plug that was… And yes, I did change all six plugs. Here is the EZ Read version of that with helpful hints on how to look at it to make sure you have the orientation correct as in Mid engine rear transmission so the front of the engine is backwards vs. typical 911’s. One thing to note was that changing the spark plugs on the Boxster was not very hard at all. I didn’t even bother to do a write up since it was basically pulling out the inner-rear plastic fender and pulling the coils off, then replacing the plug… Maybe I should have done some pics, but any-a-ways here is a LARGE EZ Read image with the Boxsters and Caymans Firing Order.

The Porsche Boxster and Cayman Firing order (Zündfolge) it is 1-6-2-4-3-5
